Jacqueline Mansell CPsychol., AFBPsS.,

Founder/Owner

Combining high-level extensive and invaluable experience with relevant qualifications to doctorate level, Jacqueline is a Chartered Psychologist, professional educator and businesswoman who is award winning in the field of learning and development.

For over two decades Jacqueline has taken an energetic and engaging approach to produce successful results for organisations across the UK and beyond covering FE, HE, retail, private and public sectors.

Working for organisations in sizes ranging from a few people to in excess of 44,000 staff, Jacqueline counts many notable organisations with whom she has applied workforce development, learning management, tutoring, lecturing skills to effect large-scale organisational change and the achievement of short term and long term goals . Consultancy, coaching, mentoring & assessment techniques have been implemented to support individuals at different levels across a range of sectors and professions.

In addition to a career committed to learning and development and working in the professional fields of L&D, OD and HR, Jacqueline's career portfolio has embraced management of staff, management of substantial budgets and other resources, business and workforce planning, project management and development of policy and strategy.

 

Jacqueline's purpose is to align the forces necessary for wellbeing and success in all organisational settings and other environments. 

 Jacqueline's Occupational Capacity 

Combining the strands of three multidisciplinary specialized roles. 

Jacqueline qualified as a psychologist in the mid 1990's and was entered into membership of the British Psychological Society. She was later awarded the title of Chartered Psychologist and has spent many years in the 'professional application of psychology and dissemination of knowledge'. This has been achieved both through her practical interventions and her publications.

The CPsychol title is identified as 'the gold standard in UK psychology … demonstrating a commitment to the highest levels of excellence in the science, education and application of psychology'.

What is a People Professional?

The people profession is an interdisciplinary field including Learning & Development (L&D), Human Resources (HR), Organisational Development (OD) and Workforce Planning.

Jacqueline's occupation as a CIPD People Professional was primarily developed in her role as a career Civil Servant (i.e.. a committed position as a politically impartial public servant). Progressive responsibilities ensued which, also included working in government departments and with other agencies across different projects. Other public sector posts included initiating, progressing and implementing workforce strategy, policies and procedures.

Jacqueline's Role as an Educator

The Society of Education and Training (which is being rebranded to the Education Training  Foundation (ETF) from April 2026) is the  body for professional Teachers and Trainers. Titles as per employing body:

Lecturers - Higher Education

Teacher / Tutors - Adult and Further Education

Trainers / Facilitators - Workplace, Third Sector, Third Age development.

Jacqueline qualified as Teacher in Adult and Further Education and enjoyed early success in developing a programme of personal development term time courses for a group of local colleges. Subsequently, her skills as an educator have stood her in good stead in the sphere of higher education, workforce development etc.

About Jacqueline's Business, Be... Seminars I Consultancy I Bespoke Interventions

Built upon more than two decades of practice, experience and continuous professional development the business was created in 2012 and since then has been successfuly delivering services for customers and clients from across the UK and beyond. A particular area of specialism has been work for local politicians with seminars/interventions carried out for representatives of over 100 local authorities ranging from large county and city organisations through to parish councils. Principles underpinning service delivery are the concept of reflection, conclusions, action and change.

Whether delivering services for an organisation, a group/team or an individual, the purpose is to:

•Provide direct on-site learning & developement seminars and other interventions professionally and with understanding

•Assist you on your journey, be it realising your strategy, your potential or your dreams

•Make a positive difference
